Have fun, do something healthy for yourself, and Be a Humane Hero all at the same time!
When and Where: Trails for Tails will take place at Great Glen Trails on September 24, 2022 but you can also do your own walk, run, hike, or bike on your own schedule and virtually participate in this event.
How can YOU help: First, you can decide what kind of activity you would like to do. Take a Walk, Run, Hike, or Bike Ride, to support the saving of animals' lives by the Conway Area Humane Society. After you select your preferred activity, ask your friends and family to support you by making donations. If you have friends, family members, or coworkers that would also like to participate, you can create a team of fundraisers and work together to raise even more funds for animals in need!
Businesses: Perhaps you have a business where several employees would like to participate in this event, maybe you could challenge another business to a friendly competition to benefit the animals here at our shelter. It can be a fun time to see who can gather the most donations for their efforts. Maybe you already have a walking, running, hiking, or biking group, this is a great way for your team to add some charity giving to your activity.
About CAHS: The Conway Area Humane Society saves hundreds of animals a year, and finds them forever homes. We deal with animals brought to us in all kinds of conditions, sometimes needing expensive medical treatments. We can not do this work without the help of our community businesses and individuals stepping up to be humane heroes. The Conway Area Humane Society has been an important part of this community for 19 years and we need your help to make sure it can continue to do it’s life saving work. If you are like us and have pets in your lives, we don’t have to tell you how precious and important those connections are to you. Please help us make those connections continue to happen throughout our community.
Yes, this event is pet friendly and we look forward to seeing your furry friends on the trails! Last year, we saw many CAHS Alumni, including Floki The Adventure Cat!
